Pranayam

PRANAYAM

To tame the “Pran Vaayu” is termed as Pranayam in ancient text. “Pran Vaayu” is not mere oxygen; it is the Bio- energy, which surrounds us every moment but cannot enter our body sufficiently due to blockage caused by various toxins in the body channels.
This “Pran Vaayu” is responsible for providing strength and life energy to every single cell of our body.
In our ordinary life, our channels, due to pollution, stress and various chemicals, which enter our body through food, get clogged, leaving our body and mind stressed
Performing Pranayam regularly makes the bio- energy travel throughout our body. It opens all the physical and mental channels of the body and mind. While exhalation during Pranayam, it causes stimulation in the complete nervous system and induces energy in every cell.
The process of exhaling forcefully generates heat energy in the body, thus in turn, causing expulsion of toxins from cells to intracellular spaces, from where these toxins are excreted out, leaving the body healthy and prepare mind to attain a state of permanent relaxation.

PRANAYAM TECHNIQUE

Ø It is not merely a breathing exercise but a process of generating tremendous energy.
Ø It is that energy that stimulates the entire nervous system that in turn stimulates various organs.
Ø This stimulation helps in increasing the blood supply& removing the toxins thereby increasing the efficiency of the organs.
Ø Main reservoir of energy lies at the lower part of spinal cord in the shape of a coil (KUNDILINI).
Ø When stimulated, it traverse upwards along the spinal cord that is SUSHUMNA- NADI
Ø Which gives tremendous energy (PHYSICAL, MENTAL & SPIRITUAL).

In order to stimulate it following steps should be applied:

1       Observe your breath moving in & moving out

2       Take control of your breath, breath in up to umbilicus, pause a bit & breath out, pause a bit & repeat the process  keeping all your concentration on your breath

3       Repeat this process at least for five minutes

4       Now observe your breath along your spinal cord

5       When you breath in, observe your breath moving along with your spinal cord touching the lower part of spinal cord

6       While breathing out, experience its touching the rear part of the brain

7       While performing BHASTRIKA / KAPALBHATI etc your observation should be like this only

8       While performing PRANAYAM observe the ENERGY/POWER moving

9       This is only the beginning..
