Enhancing immunity at MENTAL LEVEL


It is not only food we eat and lifestyle is important for enhancing immunity. It is our healthy mental approach that matters a lot. Immunity can be significantly increased with healthy mental approach.

  • Optimism – Be positive in your approach. Sense of positivity brings joy to your mind. Moreover, it helps to channelize the flow of energy in positive directions.
  • Avoid negative emotions of anger and envy as it creates unwanted stress on mind.
  • Manage the stress positively.  Avoid the undue work pressure. 
  • Keep a well managed routine of the day as it can prevent fluctuations of stress levels in mind. 
  • Follow yogic postures as it induces relaxation in the body. Corpse pose (shavasana) makes the body in relaxed posture and reduces muscular tension.
  • Regularly practice pranayama (breathing exercises) as it greatly contributes to reduce stress. It helps to lower elevated blood pressure, heart rate, reduce fatigue, improve sleep and enhance immune response. Most importantly, pranayama induces the flow of prana (divine energy) in the body and induces vitality in every minute cell of the body. 
  • Meditating for short periods each day can greatly reduce anxiety and stress, improves quality of life and boost immune function as well.
